Mackenzie Todd

Mackenzie began her riding career at the age of three and quickly found her passion. She started showing Morgans and American Saddlebreds in the Academy division when she was five years old. At the age of 13, Mackenzie moved out of Academy and into the Equitation division where she quickly became one of the region’s top riders, under the supervision of Betsy Boone. Four Oaks Farm began in 2009 when Mackenzie was given the opportunity to train and show her own American Saddlebred with the help and guidance of many professionals within the industry. In 2017, Mackenzie was offered a position at Jon Walker Stables where her talent grew. She was invited to join the US Young Riders Team as a five-gaited member. The team competed against the South African and Canadian teams and won the gold medal! In 2019, Mackenzie was offered an apprentice position in Princeton, West Virginia at Mercer Springs Farm working alongside Smith Lilly. In the fall of 2020, Mackenzie moved to Brunswick, Georgia to work under the direction of Christy Parker as the assistant trainer of Pine Haven Stables. In January of 2022, she made the decision to start her own business and rebrand to Four Oaks Farm and Stables, LLC. Today, she owns a beautiful training facility and has a bright future ahead of her in the American Saddlebred Industry.
